Dr. Shitong Wang is currently an Associate Professor at School of physics, Beihang University. His research focuses on two primary areas: improving batteries (fast ionic conductors, aqueous materials, autonomous laboratories) and optimizing their applications battery management and optimization, large-scale foundation models, and self-evolving digital employees). He also develops agent-based systems and Minimum Embodied Units (MEUs) to enable customized manufacturing through interdisciplinary collaboration and seamless integration across software and hardware, addressing the needs of high-mix, low-volume production in future industries and strategic emerging sectors.

He has published over 40 academic papers, including 23 as the first or corresponding author. His notable works include publications in Nature Communications, Energy & Environmental Science, Advanced Materials, Advanced Energy Materials (2 papers), and Advanced Functional Materials (2 papers). Additionally, he holds 11 granted patents, including one U.S. patent.
