Dr. Ruiqi Li is currently an Associate Professor at Hangzhou International Innovation Institute, Beihang University. He got his Bachelor degree in Computer Science at University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. He obtained his PhD degree in Systems Science at Beijing Normal University, and was a visiting PhD at Department of Civil Environmental Engineering at MIT, and a visiting scholar at Department of Physics at Boston University. His main research interests cover and complex network, urban science, and low-altitude economy. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Humanities & Social Sciences Communications, Scientific Reports, PLoS Complex Systems, Frontiers in Physics, Guest Editor in Journal Physics: Complexity.

He has published more than twenty peer-reviewed papers, including on Nature Communications, Communications Physics, Chaos, Social Networks, Physical Review E, with a total citation more than 1130. He is also reviewers for some SCI and SSCI journals and top conferences, including Nature Human Behaviour, PNAS Nexus, Cities, Expert Systems with Applications, Technological Forecasting & Social Change, Habitat International, PLoS Computational Biology, Habitat International, IEEE TCSS, TheWebConf (WWW), IEEE VIS.
