MORE+Zhen Li is an Associate Professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering at Beihang University and an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Engineering at the University of Warwick. He received his BEng in 2014 and PhD in 2019 from Beihang University, where his doctoral research focused on first-principles calculations of V–VI phase-change memory materials. From 2020 to 2024, he was a Research Fellow at the University of Warwick, working on deformation potentials and electron–phonon coupling. His current research focuses on the structural and transport properties of materials under extreme conditions, using AI-driven multiscale modelling approaches. He becomes the Editorial Board Member of Communications Materials and Scientific Reports since 2026.
