ZHANG Qingyuan, an Associate Professor with a tenure-track position at the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. My main research areas include belief reliability theory, systems engineering, reliability design, aerospace safety, and uncertainty quantification and analysis.


  • Papers: Published over 20 SCI papers and over 10 EI papers. The total citations in Web of Science database amount to over 300 times, and the total citations on Google Scholar reach over 500 times.

  • Monographs and Translations: Participated in the writing of one monograph in Chinese (as the main contributor), led the publication of one translation monograph (published by Springer, an international top academic publishing house, and funded by the "Silk Road" publishing fund of the Central Propaganda Department), and participated in the translation of two English monographs.

  • Patents: 6 invention patents have been authorized.

  • Projects: I have successively served as the principal investigator or participated in more than ten projects including the China Postdoctoral Science Foundation, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the Defense Basic Research Nuclear Science Challenge Program, etc., which are of fundamental research nature and enterprise-based external projects.

  • Academic Awards: Received the Outstanding Doctoral Dissertation Award from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, won the High-Impact Paper Award of Chinese Journal of Aeronautics published by the Chinese Aeronautical Society, and received the Third Prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Yunnan Province.

  • Teaching: In 2024, I was responsible for teaching the full-English course "Operations Research" for the dual-degree program between Beihang University and ENAC, totaling 32 class hours. I also participated in the experimental course "Multi-UAV Swarm Semi-Physical Simulation Flight Experiment", with 64 class hours in total for four rounds. From 2021 to 2023, I continuously undertook the teaching task of the part on sure reliability modeling in the graduate elective course "Belief Reliability Theory and Application", totaling 18 class hours; I also participated in the teaching of the part on reliability science principles and forward design of reliability in the undergraduate compulsory course "Introduction to Reliability Science and Engineering" for the academic year 2023, totaling 4 class hours; I was awarded the Excellent Teaching Presentation Award by the Youth Teacher Training Program of Beihang University.

  • Social Services: I have led the compilation of 14 standards for manufacturing reliability system engineering. Based on this, the standards were released to the public at the 24th China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen under the theme of "Bay Area Manufacturing - Leading with Reliability" by the Shenzhen Institute for Reliability Systems Engineering. Over 130 enterprises responded positively and participated actively. I was also responsible for conducting reliability technology training and consulting for enterprises or institutions totaling over 150 hours.
