Dr. Zhan Tu, Associate Professor


Dr. Zhan Tu joined the Institute of Unmanned Systems at Beihang University in Nov 2020. His research interests include unmanned systems, bio-inspired MAV, flight control, and motion/path planning. His several novel results have been reported by worldwide well-known media coverage such as NBC News, IEEE Spectrum, and Sina. Now he is in charge of several research projects founded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and other Chinese provincial/ministerial research institutions. He has more than 30 publications in IEEE Transactions on Robotics (TRO), IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters (RAL), Aerospace、Drones、Bioinspiration & Biomimetics, ICRA, and IROS. He is an expert in the national graduate education evaluation monitoring database, a reviewer of the National Natural Science Foundation, a collection editor of Aerospace journal, and a guest editor of Drones and Frontiers in Robotics and AI journals.
