Bachelor's degree from School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation in Beihang University in 1999, and Ph.D. in Institute of Robotics at Beihang University in 2004., Teacher at the Image Center of the School of Aeronautics and Astronautics at Beihang University in 2006, after two years postdoctoral work. One year visitor in the National University of Singapore in 2010, and one year visitor in the Medical Robotics Laboratory at Johns Hopkins University (JHU) in 2016.

Focused on image processing, machine vision and their application in space robotics and medical robotics. Undertaken and completed multiple national and ministerial level projects, including 1 National Natural Science Foundation Youth Fund, 1 General Project, and 1 Key Fund Sub project, 1 H863 Project, 3 Key Project Sub projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, 1 Science and Technology Support Technology Sub project; and dozens astronomy-related projects from Institutions and hospitals. Won the 2^nd prize for National Science and Technology Advancement, 1^st prize and 2^nd prize for Provincial Science and Technology Advancement, respectively. More than 100 papers have been published, and more than 20 national invention patents have been authorized.
