Ma Zhiqiang, an Associate Professor, a National Young Scholar. He obtained his Ph.D. from Beihang University in June 2021. From August 2021 to June 2025, he was appointed as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the MPM Laboratory of City University of Hong Kong and the Hong Kong Center for Cerebro-cardiovascular Health Engineering (COCHE). His current research focuses on bio-inspired sensing, flexible MEMS, fluid dynamics detection. His research findings have been published in over 30 international journals, including Advanced Functional Materials (4, including a cover paper), Advanced Science (2, including a cover paper), ACS Nano (cover paper), and Cell Reports Physical Science. Among these, 19 are first/corresponding author papers, including 3 cover articles and 1 ESI highly cited paper. His work has been highlighted in top international academic journals such as Device (a sister journal of Cell). He has also contributed one chapter to an English monograph and co-authored a paper in Nature. He has applied for/been granted 5 invention patents, including 2 U.S. patents. He serves as a Youth Editorial board member and Guest Editor for journals such as Nano-Micro Letters (IF: 36.3) and Exploration (IF: 22.5). He has received honors and awards including the Gold Award at the Asian International Innovation Invention Awards, the Second Prize in the China Medical Device Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the Beijing Outstanding Graduate Award.
