Profile

Dianlei Liu, associate researcher and master‘s supervisor, obtained his Ph.D. of Engineering from Beihang University in January 2021. From June 2021 to December 2023, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at Tsinghua University. From March 2019 to September 2020, he studied as a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. His research area covered biosecurity and life support technologies, primarily focusing on the impact and mechanisms of lunar surface environments on the biological improvement of lunar soil. He has published 20+ papers as the first author or co-author and involved in over 10 scientific research projects, including international collaborations and key R&D programs. In May 2017, he participated into the “Lunar Palace 365” experiment as the deputy commander and was honored with the Special Contribution Award for Scientific Exploration of the Feng Ru Cup. He was also honored as an Outstanding Graduate of Beijing in 2021, awarded the Innovative Special Scholarship (Collective) from the Ministry of Industry and China Youth May Fourth Medal (Collective).
