Profile
Ph.D. from Jilin University; Postdoctoral Fellow at Tsinghua University; Visiting Scholar at the University of Michigan. He is currently an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Transportation Science and Engineering, Beihang University (since 2008). His research focuses on autonomous driving decision-making and control, modeling and simulation of air-ground integrated transportation systems, intelligent vehicle human-machine interaction, and automotive/flight simulation equipment development. He has led and participated in multiple national, provincial, and ministerial-level research projects as well as industry collaboration projects. As first or corresponding author, he has published over 30 EI/SCI-indexed papers in prestigious domestic and international journals and conferences, including China Journal of Highway and Transport, Automotive Engineering, Accident Analysis & Prevention (AAP), IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology (IEEE TVT), and IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems (IEEE ITSM). He has authored or edited four textbooks/monographs. He is a recipient of the 5th China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) Excellent Scientific Paper Award, among other honors, and has supervised students to win multiple awards in domestic and international technology competitions.
He has led the R&D of a series of autonomous and controllable driving simulation equipment, including: China's first eVTOL-vehicle air-ground cooperative human-in-the-loop traffic simulation system, China's first multi-user driving simulator cluster system, the world's first multi-user truck driving simulator cluster system, the world's first rapidly switchable research-grade truck-sedan dual-purpose driving simulator, and China's first research-grade pedestrian/bicycle simulator. The core software and hardware of this equipment have been fully localized, breaking foreign technological monopolies. These systems have been deployed in multiple Double First-Class universities and related enterprises and institutions, providing critical platform support for fundamental research on road traffic safety and industrial verification in the low-altitude economy.
