The long term goal of our laboratory is to develop functional materials for therapeutic application, especially in the fields of regenerative medicine and drug delivery. To achieve this goal, we fabricate polymeric biomaterials with multiscale structure, from micro/nanostructure to molecular structure. Our recent projects focus on developing injectable hydrogels with multiscale structures for tissue regeneration. Our approach is combining biomimicry with engineering design to develop injectable hydrogels with unprecedented bioactivity.
