Ying Gao received the B. E. degree in Mathematics Education from Hubei Normal University in 1998 and the Ph.D. degree from the Dept. of mathematics, Wuhan University in 2003 and worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Institute of Mathematics and Systems science of the Chinese Academy of Sciences from July 2003 to June 2005. Since July. 2005, Dr. Gao has been with Beihang University(Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, BUAA), Beijing, China, where she was an Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics, and is currently an Associate Professor in the School of Cyber Science and Technology. From Oct. 2010 to April 2011, she was a Research Fellow in the Department of Mathematics at Nanyang Technological University(NTU), Singapore. Her research interests include cryptography and its application, algebraic coding, Secure multi-party computation, federated learning, design and analysis of cryptographic algorithms.
