Dr. Anchalee Duongthipthewa is an Associate Professor at the International Innovation College of Beihang University (Hangzhou Campus), affiliated with the COMAC-BUAA Aircraft Research Institute. She received her Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2021 and subsequently worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech), Shenzhen.

Her research focuses on multifunctional materials and smart structures with applications in sensing, lightning protection, and energy storage for soft robotics, aerospace, and advanced batteries. She also works on structural health monitoring, nanomaterials and nanotechnology, additive manufacturing, and optimization design of materials/structures.

Dr. Duongthipthewa has published more than 15 papers in leading international journals, including Composites Part B, Composites Science and Technology, Composites Part A, and Composites Communications.
