Dr. Adje Jeremie Alagbe is an Assistant Professor at the Smart Aviation Center, Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. Multilingual in French, English, and Chinese, he earned both his Master’s degree in Traffic Information Engineering and Control (2019) and his Ph.D. in Highway and Transportation Engineering (2024) from Zhejiang University, China.

Dr. Alagbe’s research centers on human factors, traffic safety, intelligent transportation systems, and airport management, with a strong emphasis on experimental and data-driven approaches. His work integrates eye-tracking, naturalistic driving studies, data analytics, and explainable machine learning to better understand human–system interactions and improve transportation safety and efficiency.

He has authored over 10 peer-reviewed journal papers in leading outlets such as IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Magazine, Transportmetrica B: Transport Dynamics, and the International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology. He has also presented his research at major international conferences, including the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and the World Transport Convention (WTC) in China.

Dr. Alagbe actively engages in international research collaboration and academic exchange.
