目前在北京航空航天大学任副教授，博士生导师。作为主要成员主持及参与了自然科学基金项目“基于IGA与T样条技术的冲压有限元软件关键技术研究”、“复杂薄壁结构多重非线性过程等几何分析技术研究”、“面向CAD/CAE的T样条实体建模理论与应用研究”、“高亏格T样条实体建模理论及其在增材制造中的应用研究”及多项863计划、重大专项、国防基础科研等项目，对代表计算机辅助几何设计发展方向的T样条技术和数值计算发展热点的等几何分析有深入的研究，并正在与企业合作致力于新一代CAD/CAE集成计算机辅助设计平台的研发工作。目前的主要研究领域包括计算机辅助几何设计、有限元计算、拓扑优化、现代飞机制造技术等。
