Dr. Falin WU is an Associate Professor in the Satellite Navigation and Remote Sensing (SNARS) Laboratory at the School of Instrumentation and Optoelectronic Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, China.
Dr. WU received his Ph.D. degree from Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology, Japan. After completing his Ph.D. degree in 2004 he spent four years working at RMIT University in the School of Mathematical and Geospatial Sciences as a Research Fellow.
Dr. WU is a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a professional member of the Institute of Navigation (ION), and a memeber of American Geophysical Union Science and Society (AGU). His research interests include satellite positioning and navigation, GNSS/PNT technologies, remote sensing and GIS, satellite signal processing, multi-sensor integration, ionospheric physics and modeling, weather forecasting, NWP, GNSS meteorology, space geodesy, image processing and computer vision, machine learning/deep learning for space applications.
SNARS Laboratory is a multi-discipline, multi-culture and innovative research group. More than 40 international students from 16 countries have been conducting their research in the SNARS Laboratory. SNARS seeks motivated, talented, and collaborative researchers to join the laboratory. SNARS encourages prospective candidates to apply from any space technology and application related disciplines.
