Prof. Qing Gao received his Ph.D. degree in Mechatronics Engineering from the City University of Hong Kong, Kowloon, Hong Kong in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he was with the School of Engineering and Information Technology, University of New South Wales, Canberra at the Australian Defence Force Academy, as a postdoctoral research associate. Since 2018, he has joined the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University as a full professor. His research interests include quantum AI and control theory.
Prof. Gao is the recipient of the Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship of Germany and the 21st Guan Zhao-Zhi Award.

We have several vacancies for postdoc/PhD students/Master students in the area of quantum AI and control theory. Students with strong background in mathematics/control theory are encouraged to apply! Knowledge in quantum mechanics is preferred but not an essential.
POSTDOC (1-2 open positions are available)
Applicants should have a PhD degree in control theory\applied mathematics\AI. Publication of papers in top journals like IEEE Transactions\Automatica is required.
PhD (1 openning is available in 2021)
