左宗玉，男，博士，国家级青年人才，现为北京航空航天大学自动化学院智能系统与控制工程系教授。2005年7月获中南大学自动化专业工学学士学位。同年，免试推荐为北航自动化科学与电气工程学院控制理论与控制工程专业直博生（导师：霍伟教授），2011年7月获工学博士学位。期间曾获中南大学优秀学生、优秀毕业生，北京航空航天大学研究生院优秀党员称号。

目前主要担任北航“双百工程”优质课程《理论力学A》的课程负责人，以及国家级精品课程、国家级一流本科课程《自动控制原理》的教学工作；主持国家自然科学基金（青年、面上项目）、**科技创新特区项目、航空基金、航天支撑基金以及研究所横向课题等，出版专著2本（[1] Z. Zuo, Q.-L. Han, B. Ning, Fixed-Time Cooperative Control of Multi-agent Systems, Springer Nature Switzerland AG；[2] C. Wang, Z. Zuo, J. Wang, Z. Ding, Robust Cooperative Control of Multi-agent Systems: A Prediction and Oberservation Perspetive, CRC Press），已授权发明专利6项、软件著作权1项，接收发表学术论文150余篇，包括SCI论文110余篇；2012年被评为北京航空航天大学“蓝天新秀”，2012年获**科技进步三等奖一项，2016年获2016 IEEE CGNCC优秀论文提名奖，2017年5月入选北航“青年拔尖”人才支持计划，2017年获**技术发明三等奖一项，2017年、2018年获北航第十六、十七届“我爱我师”优秀教师奖，2018年获天津市自然科学二等奖一项，2018、2020、2021年度《控制理论与应用》优秀审稿人，2019年获第15届IEEE ICCA优秀论文提名奖，2019年被评为北航学院“优秀班主任”称号，2019年获校级优秀硕士学位论文指导教师，2019年获第五届“校级工程硕士实习实践优秀成果获得者”指导教师，2019年获北航教学优秀奖二等奖，1篇论文入选北京市科协“北京地区广受关注学术论文”，入选爱思唯尔 (Elsevier) 2021~2023年"中国高被引学者"，2022年获校级“优秀班主任”称号、“凡舟”奖教金（课堂教学类）二等奖，2023年获中国航空学会“李明青年英才奖”，2023年获北京人才研究会“麒麟科学技术奖-科技创新奖”，2023年获IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica优秀编委奖（Outstanding Associate Editor Award），入选科睿唯安 (Clarivate) 2020、2022及2023年“全球高被引学者”，2023年获北航教学成果一等奖。

Zongyu Zuo received his B.Eng. Degree in automatic control from Central South University, Hunan, China, in 2005, and PH.D. Degree in control theory and applications from Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing, China, in 2011. He was an academic visitor at the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Manchester from September 2014 to September 2015 and held an inviting associate professorship at Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science, UMR CNRS 8201, Unversity de Valenciennes et du Hainaut-Cambresis in October 2015 and May 2017. He is currently a full professor at the School of Automation Science and Electrical Engineering, Beihang University. He has held six authorized patents and has published two monograhs,  more than one hundred and ten (110) fully-refereed high quality journal articles indexed by Science Citation Index (SCI), including nearly sixty (60) articles published in Automatica and the most prestigious IEEE Transactions. He was identified as one of Highly Cited Researchers - 2020 and 2022 by Clarivate. Professor Zuo was ranked in the Top 41 (with self-citations) and Top 45 (without self-citations) in the total researchers (83,299) in the world within the field of Industrial Engineering & Automation for citation impact during the single calendar year 2021 in the Stanford University’s Top 2% of the Most-Cited Scientists. He was ranked in the Top 474 (with self-citations) and Top 457 (without self-citations) in the total researchers (83,299) in the world within the field of Industrial Engineering & Automation for career-long citation impact up until the end of 2021 in the Stanford University’s Top 2% of the Most-Cited Scientists.
