Abstract:Magnetocardiography (MCG) is critical for early diagnosis and treatment of cardiac diseases. Arrayed SERF atomic magnetometers deliver high-quality MCG in a near-zero field provided by a magnetic shielding cylinder (MSC) with active magnetic compensation (AMC). However, the magnetic noise within the MSC is dynamic and gradient-distributed, making conventional single-stage uniform-field AMC inadequate. To overcome this, we propose a two-stage synergistic compensation method. It flattens the gradient along the MSC opening axis in the first stage and nulls the noise along the SERF sensitivity axi
