My research interest is on the Earth's magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling system, particulary the inner magnetosphere dynamics and its cross-regional coupling with the ionosphere and magnetotail. I have authored

 over 80 publications. I have been actively involved in both national and international societies, such as being co-chair of the SCOSTEP COURSE program, Focus Group leading chair of the NSF/Geospace Environment Modeling (GEM) Workshop, committee member of  the space physics of the Chinese Society of Space Science. I have also convened in many international conferences like AGU and AOGS.
