Profile

Dr. Yue Jiang is a professor of the School of Astronautics at Beihang University (BUAA) and a core member of the Spray Combustion Laboratory. Focusing on aerospace propulsion, he has long been engaged in research on combustion of metal particles and energetic materials. His main areas of research include solid propellant formulation design and manufacturing, and synthesis and combustion diagnostics of metal-based energetic materials. Dr. Jiang has published over 30 papers in journals such as ACS Nano, Combustion and Flame, Nano Letters, Composites Science and Technology, Nature Catalysis, and Chemical Engineering Journal, with over 1,000 citations in the past five years. He serves as the young editorial board member for SCI journals including Advances in Astronautics, eScience, EEM and Rare Metals, as well as a reviewer for journals such as Combustion and Flame, Proceedings of the Combustion Institute, Applied Energy, Chemical Engineering Journal, and ACS AMI. He leads several national-level research projects.
