Dr. Chunhong Yu is a lecturer in School of Medical Sciences and Engineering, Beihang University, China. Having received her PhD degree from Beihang University in 2019, Dr. Yu undertook her undergraduate training at the School of Medical Sciences and Engineering in Beihang University. She became a lecturer of Beihang University in 2019.

After one year research fellowship at University College London under the instruction of Associate Pro. Emmanuel Boucrot (2015 to 2016), Dr. Yu returned to Beihang University and obtained her PhD degree in 2019. Her ongoing research interests are as followed: (1) The mechanisms of reactive oxygen species (ROS), gene transcriptional regulation, DNA methylation, and histone modification are investigated at the cellular, molecular and multi-omics levels in the toxicity of the environmental pollutant benzene; (2) The mechanism of epithelial-mesenchymal transformation in hepatocytes; (3) The cellular markers and related signaling pathways in the quiescent cells; (4) Research and development of artificial blood. She is a member of the Chinese Society of Biomedical Engineering and the Chinese Society of Toxicology, and has published more than 20 peer-reviewed articles in journals like Archives of Toxicology, Toxicol in Vitro, Exp Mol Pathol, Biomed Environ Sci, BMC Pharmacol Toxicol, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics, J Toxicol, Toxicol Appl Pharmacol, Toxicology, Environ Toxicol and so on.
