Mr. Wang Xin is a Research Fellow at the Smart Aviation Center (Hangzhou), Beihang University. He earned his PhD from the Graduate School of GITS/GITI at Waseda University, Japan, in 2013. Prior to that, he completed dual master’s degrees: a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Paris XI and a Master’s in Transportation & Mobility from the University of Paris XII and ENPC, France, in 2007.
With over a decade of extensive experience in the avionics field, he has made significant contributions to major programs such as the C919/929 aircraft (Civil transport aircraft designed and manufactured in China). He has also provided advanced avionics system solutions to multiple domestic eVTOL OEMs. His current research focuses on:
Avionics Systems: Integrated Modular Avionics (IMA), avionics data buses, intelligent cockpit systems, and more.
Network Security: Addressing cybersecurity challenges in aviation.
Human-Machine Interaction (HMI): Engineering interactive systems for enhanced usability and safety.
Artificial Intelligence in Aviation: Leveraging AI for innovative applications in the aerospace domain.
Model Based System Engineer (MBSE): Employing MBSE methodologies to optimize complex avionics system design and integration.
Our team warmly invites exceptional individuals from around the world to join us as master's students, PhD candidates, or postdoctoral researchers. We are dedicated to fostering long-term collaborations and advancing groundbreaking research in aviation and related fields.
