I am an Associate Professor from the Robotics Institute, School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation, Beihang University, China. My research interests include service robots, robot motion and path planning, imitation learning, embodied AI, computational geometry, etc. Before joining Beihang, I was a Research Fellow from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore, Singapore. I obtained PhD degree from Department of Mechanical Engineering of Johns Hopkins University, USA, focusing on Robotics. At Hopkins, I was a member of the Laboratory for Computational Sensing and Robotics (LCSR), under the guidance of Prof. Gregory S. Chirikjian. I received the Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, and was a member of the State Key Laboratory of Robotics and System. I have published more than 20 papers including IEEE T-RO, IEEE RA-L, Research, IEEE CVPR, IEEE ICRA, etc. And I have served as Associate Editor for ICRA and Session Chair for IROS.
