Xiaoqiang LI, Professor, Doctoral supervisor, Assistant Dean of School of Mechanical Engineering and Automation in Beihang University. He obtained Bachelor and Master Degree in Northwestern Polytechnic University in 2000 and 2003 respectively. He received a PhD in 2008 and had a postdoc research between 2008 and 2010 in Beihang University. He visited The Ohio State University between 2012 and 2013. Now he’s research focuses on the process and equipment development in flexible forming of high performance curved thin-walled part and aircraft assembly with high service performance. He is PI for more than 15 projects including National Science Foundation of China, Major National Science and Technology Project, and company cooperation projects. He has published over 100 peer-reviewed scientific articles and about 20 conference papers. He holds 35 China patents. In 2012, he was the recipient of First Prize of the National Defense Science and Technology Progress Award of China.
