Dr. Ruochen Liu currently serves as an assistant professor at Beihang University. He earned his PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University, pursuing research at the intersection of materials and manufacturing.

His research focuses on additive manufacturing, particularly the design and fabrication of feedstock materials and the relationships between processing, structure, and performance. He is especially interested in high-efficiency processing and intelligent design for manufacturing in extreme environments. His broader research interests include composite materials, flexible devices, and brain-inspired intelligence, spanning its underlying materials, devices, and applications.
