MORE+Jianlei Yang is currently a Professor in Beihang University, Beijing, China, with the School of Computer Science and Engineering. He received the Ph.D. degree in computer science and technology from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2014. From 2014 to 2016, he was a post-doctoral researcher with the Department of ECE, University of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. His current research interests include ML/LLM systems, computer architectures, computing in memmory.
He was the recipient of the First/Second place on ACM TAU Power Grid Simulation Contest in 2011/2012. He was a recipient of IEEE ICCD Best Paper Award in 2013, ACM GLSVLSI Best Paper Nomination in 2015, IEEE ICESS Best Paper Award in 2017, ACM SIGKDD Best Student Paper Award in 2020.
Currently, he is a senior member of IEEE, a member of ACM, a senior member of CCF, and a member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics. He serves as an executive member of the CCF Special Committee on Integrated Circuit Design, an executive member of the CCF Special Committee on Computer Architecture, an executive member of the CCF Special Committee on Fault - Tolerant Computing, and a member of the Power Sensing and Intelligent Analysis Professional Committee of the China Energy Research Society.
He is also an editorial board member of the Integration, the VLSI Journal (Elsevier). He has served as a program committee member for international academic conferences such as DAC, ICCAD, KDD, AAAI, ASP - DAC, GLSVLSI, and AICAS. He was the PIM Track Co - Chair of the DAC 2022 International Conference, the CAD Track Chair of the GLSVLSI 2018/2019 International Conferences, the Publication Chair of the FPT 2019/2025 International Conferences, the Special Session Chair of the NANOARCH 2021/2022 International Conferences, and a guest editor for special issues of the TNANO Journal in 2022/2023. He also serves as a reviewer for international academic journals such as TCAD, TC, TCAS - I, TNNLS, and JETC.
He is currently responsible for teaching courses such as Computer Organization, Fundamentals of Computer Systems, Methodology of Computer Science, Intelligent Computing Architecture, and Deep Learning Systems.
