Multilingual in French, English, and Chinese, Dr. Adje Jeremie Alagbe is an Assistant Professor at the Smart Aviation Center, Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University. He earned both his Master’s degree in Traffic Information Engineering and Control (2019) and his Ph.D. in Highway and Transportation Engineering (2024) from Zhejiang University, China.
Dr. Alagbe’s research focuses on human factors, traffic safety, intelligent transportation systems, and airport management, with a strong emphasis on experimental approaches, including eye-tracking, naturalistic driving studies, data analytics, and explainable machine learning. He has authored over 10 peer-reviewed papers in leading journals, including IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, IEEE Intelligent Transportation Systems Magazine, Transportmetrica B: Transport Dynamics, and the International Journal of Transportation Science and Technology.
Dr. Alagbe actively participates in international research collaborations and academic exchanges. He has presented his work at major international conferences, including the Transportation Research Board (TRB) Annual Meeting in Washington, D.C., and the World Transport Convention (WTC) in China, where he has delivered multiple lectern presentations.
