Biography

Shan Zhang (S'13-M'16) received Ph.D. degree in electronic engineering from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2016. She is currently an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Beihang University, Beijing, China. She was a post doctoral fellow in Department of Electronical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, from 2016 to 2017. Her research interests include mobile edge computing, integrated space-air-ground networking, heterogeneous network planning and management. She has published more than 50 international journal and conference papers in IEEE JSAC, TMC, TWC, IEEE Magazines, IEEE INFOCOM, GLOBECOM, and ICC, etc. She is/has been serving as an associate editor of Peer-to-Peer Networking and Application, and a Guest Editor of China Communications. She is enrolled in the 2019-2022 Young Talent Support Project of CAST, and received the Best Paper Award at APCC 2013.
