Chuantao Yin, Ph.D., Professor, born in 1982 in Gaotang County, Shandong Province, is the Vice Dean of Sino-French Engineer School/School of General Engineering at Beihang University of China.

      He entered the School of Computer and Communication Engineering of Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) in 1999, and was sent to Ecole Centrale Paris, France, in 2001. He received the degree of Generalist Engineer from Ecole Centrale Paris and the Bachelor's degree of Communication Engineering from SWJTU in 2003, and the Master's degree of Communication and Information System from SWJTU in 2006. In January 2010, he received his PhD degree in Computer Science from Ecole Centrale de Lyon, France.

      He is in charge of the teaching affaires of the school, and has been exploring and practicing in the fields of Sino-French cooperative education and engineer training for a long time. He has won the second prize of Beijing Teaching Achievement and the first prize of Beihang Teaching Achievement; he is the main lecturer of the undergraduate and graduate courses of "Computer Fundamentals", "Introduction to Generalist Engineer", "Software Engineering and Modeling", and "Data Analysis in Python". In terms of scientific research, he is mainly engaged in the research of educational information science and technology, smart education, education digitization, etc. He has presided over two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, and has participated in the National 863 Theme Project, the International National Science and Technology Cooperation Project, and the National Key Research and Development Program, etc. At present, he has published more than 50 high-level academic papers, including more than 20 SCI indexed papers.
