Dr. Wang received his Ph.D in computational science from the University of California, San Diego in 2011. He then joined the computational mathematics group at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory as a postdoctoral researcher and later as a staff scientist. In 2014, Dr. Wang returned to Beijing and joined the School of Mathematical Sciences of Beihang University as a professor and later transferred to the School of Microelectronics in 2020. He has a broad research interests but mainly focuses on the uncertainty quantification of stochastic systems, including EDA, environmental flow and transport, solar energy, computational material sciences, porous media, biological systems and drug dissolution kinetics.
