2001年于清华大学工程力学系获得工学学士学位；2006年于清华大学航天航空学院固体力学所获得工学博士学位。2004年在香港大学机械工程系做学生研究助理。2007-2009年任日本学术振兴会(JSPS)特别研究员，在日本东北大学材料系统评价学研究室进行合作研究。2009年回国，在北京航空航天大学固体力学研究所任教。2010年至今担任北京力学会固体力学专业委员会秘书和委员。
主要研究方向为冲击动力学，热弹性力学等。2009年被评为北航“航空百人计划” 引进人才，主持国家自然科学基金项目，北航海外优秀人才基金项目等。目前已接收和发表论文80多篇，其中SCI论文48篇，论文他引400余次。曾经担任理论力学A(1)（全英），理论力学A(2)（全英），生物力学等课程的教学，目前正在承担Finite Element Analysis in Engineering，结构分析有限元法（全英），复变函数等课程的教学工作。2010年获评北航冯如杯二等奖指导教师，2015年被评为北航国际学院外文课程优秀授课教师，2016年获得两项北京航空航天大学教学成果奖二等奖。
