Bo Sun (M’07-SM’17) received a Ph.D. degree in reliability engineering and systems engineering from Beihang University, Beijing, China, in 2007; and a B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from Beijing Institute of Mechanical Industry, Beijing, China, in 2001. He was a visiting scholar at Hong Kong Polytechnic University from 2015 to 2016. He is currently an associate professor at the School of Reliability and Systems Engineering at Beihang University in Beijing, China. He is a supervisor of M.S. students and co-supervisor of Ph.D. students. His current research interests include prognostics and health management, physics of failure, reliability of electronics, reliability engineering, and integrated design of product reliability and performance.
