新加坡南洋理工大学博士，德国慕尼黑工业大学洪堡学者，曾在澳大利亚新南威尔士大学担任助理教授，主要研究方向和研究兴趣包括智能传感器、超声成像、工业检测与评估、结构健康监测等。主持国家自然科学基金项目、德国洪堡基金会项目、澳大利新南威尔士大学项目等，并参与德国科学基金会项目、新加坡国立研究基金会和新加坡能源创新研究计划项目等，荣获新加坡最佳项目奖。担任《Ultrasonic Imaging》和《IEEE Open Journal of Signal Processing》副主编，《Journal of Dynamics, Monitoring and Diagnostics》、《Instrumentation》和《激光与光电子学进展》等青年编委等；担任中国仪器仪表学会设备结构健康监测与预警分会委员会委员、中国机械工程学会无损检测分会委员，Technical Program Committee of 2023 IEEE International Ultrasonics Symposium，2023 IEEE/ASME International Conference on Advanced Intelligent Mechatronics，2021 Australasian Congress on Applied Mechanics和20th World Conference on Non-Destructive Testing等国际分会主席，国家标准GB150-2011《压力容器》标准释义编委等。
