Born in Fu'An City, Fu'Jian Province, China, December 1986. Bachelor in Materials Science and Engineering (2008) and Master in Materials Science and Engineering (2011) of Xiamen University; Ph.D in Physics, University of Liege, Belgium (2015).


He has been selected as the "Outstanding 100 Talents" and "Young Top Talents Program" of Beihang University, the excellent instructor of master's thesis, and the excellent tutor of Beihang University. Presided over national, provincial and ministerial-level scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation (3 projects) and the National Key Research and Development Plan (subproject).


Served as Referee of the National Natural Science Foundation of China; National graduate education evaluation and monitoring expert; Referee of more than 30 known international journals, including Phys. Rev. Lett; Guest/Topic Editors of SCI journals Materials (impact factor: 3.623) and Processes (impact factor: 2.753); Member of Chinese, American and European Material Research Association.


#Main research fields: Methodology development in computational materials science;  Design of new materials & database using first-principles calculation and artificial intelligence.

More than 60 papers published in international known journals, such as in J. Am. Chem. Soc., Nano Lett., Adv. Energy Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., ACS Nano, Nano Energy, Nanoscale Horiz., J. Phys. Chem. Lett./C, Appl. Phys. Lett., J. Mater. Chem.  A/C; 30 of them are first/corresponding authors; 6 papers were selected as ESI's "Top 1% Cited Papers in the World".


His research has been widely evaluated and cited by Nobel laureates, academicians/academicians/editors at home and abroad for more than 2000 times, and have been included in six books on material science and engineering published by world famous publishers. He has been invited to deliver more than 10 talks at the China Materials Research Conferences, the Fall Meeting of the American Materials Research Society, the Fall Meeting of the European Materials Research Society and other internationally renowned research conferences on materials science and physics.
