Dr. Bao Meng joined the School of Mechanical Engineering & Automation, Beihang University in January, 2016. He is mainly engaged in research work in precision and micro-scaled forming technology and has presided several projects such as the NSFC, Beijing Natural Science Foundation, National Defense Project Fund, Aviation Science Foundation, and scientific research from aviation companies. Hs has have made important progress in many important fields such as multi-field assisted micro-manufacturing theory, simulation and technology, and flexible manufacturing technology of aeroengine thin-walled complex structures. He has published more than 20 SCI papers in this field and won 4 invention patents. He has won the Best Paper Award on 4M/ICOMM 2015 Micro-Manufacturing International Conference. He is the reviewer of many journals such as Tribology International, Journal of Manufacturing Processes, Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering, Chinese Journal of Aeronautics, and Journal of Mechanical Engineering et al.
