Dr. Yandan Jiang has been an Associate Professor at the Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University, China, since October 2025. She was an Associate Research Fellow in College of Control Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China from March 2020 to June 2023, where she became a Research Fellow from July 2023 to September 2025. Her research interests include measurement and instrumentation, multiphase flow detection techniques, process tomography and biomedical imaging.
Dr. Jiang has led 7 research projects supported by various funding bodies, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Natural Science Foundation of Zhejiang Province. She has published over 30 papers in top journals such as IEEE TIE, IEEE TMI, IEEE TIM, and Measurement, along with more than 30 conference papers and several granted Chinese invention patents. Currently, she is a senior member of IEEE and a senior member of the China Instrument and Control Society. She serves as a committee member of the Youth Committee of the China Instrument and Control Society (CIS), and an Associate Editor (AE) for both IEEE TIM and Measurement, which are two leading journals in the field of instrumentation and measurement field. She has been actively involved in academic conferences, chairing sessions and delivering invited speeches.
