Personal Profile

Dr Haichao Gui received the B.E. and Ph.D. degrees in Aerospace Engineering from Beihang University in Beijing in 2009 and 2014, respectively. From July 2014 to August 2017, he was successively a Postdoctoral Researcher in the Department of Earth and Space Science and Engineering at York University and in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada. Currently he is a Professor in the School of Astronautics at Beihang University in Beijing. His research is supported by the 'Zhuoyue Bairen Program' and 'Qingnian Bajian Program' of Beihang, the NSFC, etc.

His research interests include spacecraft dynamics, guidance, navigation and control technology for aerospace systems. He has published over 50 journal articles and conference papers.

Description of Research Group:北京航空航天大学太空智能操作技术创新中心依托航天器设计优化与动态模拟技术教育部重点实验室，团队带头人为桂海潮教授，师生共计50余人。中心面向载人航天、深空探测、空间安全、太空交通治理等国家重大需求，以航天器动力学与控制、空间机器人技术、航天任务设计与系统仿真、太空交通为主要研究方向，开展基础理论研究与相关软硬件系统研发。近年来，承担国家自然科学基金、国家重点研发计划、基础加强计划等项目50余项，参与载人航天、实践系列、地月空间探索等多项国家重大工程和重大任务保障，相关成果发表SCI论文200余篇，授权发明专利50余项，拥有自主知识产权的轨道设计与飞控软件，获中国青年科技奖、中国指挥控制学会科技进步一等奖等国家级、省部级科技奖励。
