Profile
Cheng Shuo, male, is an associate professor at the School of Transportation Science and Engineering, Beihang University. He received his Bachelor's degree in July 2016 from the School of Mechatronics Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology. In July 2021, he earned his Ph.D. from the School of Vehicle and Mobility at Tsinghua University. From October 2021 to October 2023, he was a JSPS postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo, Japan. From November 2023 to February 2025, he was a research fellow at the School of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. His primary research interests include the design and dynamics of unmanned transportation systems, autonomous vehicle planning and control, vehicle dynamics and stability, and the development of X-by-wire chassis systems. Students from fields such as mechanical engineering, computer science, control engineering, and electrical engineering are welcome to apply for postdoctoral, Ph.D., and master's positions in his research team.
