Prof. Xiaoyang Lin is now an full professor in Fert Beijing Research Institute, Beihang University.  

He is the Deputy Director of National Key Laboratory of Spintronics. He is Chair of the Department of IC materials and devices, School of Integrated Circuit Science and Engineering, Beihang Univeristy.

He got his bachelor degree and PhD degree from Tsinghua University in 2010 and 2015, respective. He has been working on emerging materials and devices of electronics, especially 2D spintronics and optically controlled spintronics. He now leads the group of Two-dimensional Opto-spintronics (TOS) in the institute. He has published more than 60 papers in SCI journals (1Nature Electronics, 1 Nature Communications, 1 Matter, 2 Nano Letters, 2 ACS Nano, 1 Science Advances, 3 Physical Review Applied, 1 Advanced Functional Materials, 6 Applied Physics Letters, 6 Nano Research, 1 Advanced Electronic Materials, 8 IEEE TR), with more than3000 total citations; > 50 Chinese invention patents, > 30 USA invention patents.

He is the editor of Sci. Rep.. He is the reviewer of Nature Communications, Nano Letters, Applied Physics Letters, Scientific Reports, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Physics Letters A, IEEE Trans. Nanotechnol etc. He is IEEE senior member, member of ACS, member of MRS, member of APS.
