Biography:
Dr. Karim RAGUI received his Double Ph.D. degree on Advanced Process Engineering from Paris-Saclay University, France, and University of Sciences and Technology, Algeria (2016). He was previously an Associate Professor in Paris-Saclay University and Sciences and Technology University (2016-2022), and Senior Researcher at Institute of Engineering Thermophysics, IET-CAS, China, (2022-2024). He served as Director of joint France-Algeria Laboratory of Nanotechnology (2020-2021). He is currently an Associate Professor at Hangzhou International Innovation Institute of Beihang University, China.
Dr. Karim RAGUI is engaged in Carbon Neutrality theory based-optimization and intelligent design. He is also an Expert Researcher in Chinese Space Station (CSS), a Member of France-CNRS HydroGEMM for Clean Energy, and International Energy Infrastructure Mapping Community for CCUS. His research interests lie on (i) Nanotechnology with heat-mass instabilities in porous media, (ii) applied nanofluids and nano-materials for enhanced transfers, (iii) and Supercritical fluid thermal system application for Carbon Neutrality (CCUS). He presided and participated in more than 10 international projects from: CNRS-France, NSFC-China, JSPS-Japan, and NCN-Poland. He developed numerical models and upgraded apparatus to (i) eliminate Soot nanoparticles after combustion, (ii) clean energy mechanisms based on low carbon emission, and (iii) phase change cooling model for high-power devices. He published more than 35 SCI-papers, Co-Edited 03 English books and 05 Special Issues (Scopus) in the field of heat and mass transfer theory and nanotechnology applications. He also Organized/Co-Organized more than 40 International Conferences. Dr. K. RAGUI is an Editorial Board and Guest Editor in several Springer and Elsevier Journals. He is a member of 35 International Scientific and Organizing Committee, and a Founding Member of the 1st European Topical School for Ph.D. Students (2016-2024). He won the International Young Scientists Project of NSFC, China, and several Certificates of Excellence from Elsevier (2019-2021), and Nature Master-classes (2022-2023).
